Not Another One? AFC Ajax Drops Dutch Championship Trophy Off Bus

This is becoming a disturbing trend:  European soccer teams work hard all season, win a championship trophy, then drop it off the top of a bus during a parade afterwards.

First Sergio Ramos, now this:  Amsterdam football club (AFC) Ajax received the Dutch Eredivisie shield for winning the Dutch First Division championship.  The team returned home for a parade through the streets of Amsterdam.  As goalkeeper Marteen Stekelenburg was holding the shield on top of the bus, he collided with a set of power lines and the shield was knocked to the ground. (Check it out at about the 0:38 second mark of the video.  Was he not paying attention?  It wasn't like the power lines just "came out of nowhere")

The shield rolled off to the side of the road like an old hubcap, and the fans started playing around with it.  There would have been nothing preventing a fan from taking off down the street with it and selling it later on eBay.

Again, these guys need to work on their trophy handling skills.
